Efforts of implementing this reform by various groups include the following: 

Balanced Ballot for 
El Cerrito, California

 A group of individuals have formed a political action committee to sponsor a ballot measure to implement Balanced Ballot reform in El Cerrito.  More information can be found at their FB group: Balanced Ballot for El Cerrito.  This is an ongoing effort.

YES/NO Voting for Colorado State

A group of individuals proposed an ballot measure to implement this reform in Colorado in 2014 but failed to gather enough signatures.
